GZIP and the FAQ

I read the FAQ on gzip.

How do I make sense of what Server Info is telling me?

I checked Admin->Tools->Server Info and found

output_buffering 4096 4096

Now the FAQ says

If it's on (1), leave the Zen Cart GZip setting set to 0.
If it's off (0), set Zen Cart's setting to 1.

Should I assume 4096, not being "0" I should leave gzip setting off?

With the introduction of PHP 5, the default configuration of PHP was changed from "0" to "4096".

The FAQ has been updated to clarify your decision. Basically, if it's "Off" or "0", turn it on in Zen Cart. If it's "On" or "non-zero", leave it off in Zen Cart.

And thanks again, Doc. Checked out my URL there and although gzip is off in Zen-Cart, pages are being serverd up gzipped.
