FireFox, IEXP Differences

Hi All,

I thought I had sorted something but then realised that it just looks different in IEXP7 and FF3.5. The site is on my laptop so no URL at the moment but hopefully you can see the piccy's.

In FF there is the dark band at the bottom of the tile back image that isn't a part of the original image. There is also the white band under that which I don't really want.

In Internet Explorer neither are present.

Its not a big deal really but I have been striving for the IXEP look for ages and fiddling with the css file not really understanding why I couldn't get rid. Then I notice in IEXP its ok.

By the way the IXEP look is the preference.

Can anyone explain please, if nothing else I just need to understand what is going on.

Incidently can I remove that fine vertical white line too??

Very difficult to diagnose this stuff without access to the site, but you might look at this:

For those veiwing this thread, this is one reason I strongly recommend not installing Zencart on your local machine. Hosting is cheap, and if we could see this site using Firefox and Web Developer, I'm sure we could let the OP know exactly what the problem is.

I take your point about the local install but I have learnt so much by being able to mess about without having to worry about support requests having to reset my site and such because I have badly messed things up.

Having said that I am getting close to putting something up there and if this is still an issue I will repost.

The support here is excellent and I can sense your frustration at not being to look at this properly, so appologies for that.

Sorry to Hijack this thread, but the title explains my issue as well.

My live site www.nortsandones.com.au is showing different in FF3.5 to IE7.

The centre column is showing as nugded/cramped up against the left boxes in FF, but in IE its showing nicely spaced.

I've played with the stylesheet using the web developer in FF but I still can't get it to display the same in both browsers.

I'm hoping the Zen Gods can shed some light on this.
