Default How-To Add-on Install for new user

I am a new Zen-cart user and want to install the Email Address Exporter 1.51 to a zen-cart Ver1.3.9h.
As I am not yet familiar with the directory structures and how things tie together, the readme.txt is pretty vague to me.

"Upload all files as-is to your server, retaining folder structures." Not real clear.

Can anyone provide more detailed explanation of what do to step-by-step install this add-on?

All the files in the zip are in "Admin." But, as email_export.php is the main file, where specifically should this be moved to?

In my hosted system there is the \httpdocs, then \store, then all the zen-cart files. This is my starting reference point.

    Thanks.

In the case of that mod, the best way to go would be to change the name of the 'admin' folder in the mod to the name of your custom admin folder name, then drag and drop it to the root directory of your site, which in your case would be public_html/store. All the files in the mod will then be in the proper places on your server.

So, as a new ZC user, I'v inheritied a running system to manage. I don't know what is meant by "your custom admin folder name." In the store\ directory I have \docs, \download, \editors, \email, \extras, \images, \includes, \media, \pub and \vsbackend. So I don't know where and what to name it? I did move the "admin" into the root of the store, but I did not see the Tools menu item appear. Once the mod is moved to the correct place, does ZC find it automatically or is there another step or two?

I would guess that your admin folder name is 'vsbackend'. Take a look inside that folder and see if it has folders inside named 'backups', 'images' and 'includes'. If so, that's your admin folder and you need to change its name immediately now that you've exposed it to the Internet.
