Hello,
I wish to remove the 'Gift Certificate FAQ', 'Site Map' and 'Discount Coupons' links from the Information sidebox.

Admin - Configuration - Define Page Status for the Site Map
You'll can turn off Gift Certificates and Discount Coupons in Admin - Modules - Order Totals for those.
