Hi,

I have a 1.3.8a version of Zencart installed through Fantastico, where I am using the classic template, which I have customised a bit here and there and my web host is justhost.com.

I finished the website (www.blackknifetactica.com) a couple of days ago and I tested it and it was working perfectly. Straight after, I decided to secure it to offer protection to my customers, so I purchased a Private SSL Certificate and a Dedicated IP address from my web host. Then I followed the procedures from https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=14 to enable SSL in Zencart. Having searched through all Zencart forums, I found out that the SSL is very specific, so when following the enabling SSL procedure I made sure that I wrote down exactly the same website name as the one written in my SSL certificate. I then checked again my website to test if everything was working ok and my shop page (www.blackknifetactica.com/stores) had gone white and everything was all over the place. I searched through endless questions in the forum but couldn’t find anyone with the same problem. I then thought to try to write www.blackknifetactica.com/stores in the enabling SSL procedure instead of www.blackknifetactica.com to see what happened , checked my website again and the page was back; however when I was testing trying to add an item to the cart, this didn’t work at all and hence it wasn’t even possible to get to the checkout.

I am new to all this and this is my first time trying to somehow build a website. Could anyone give me some advice on this please as to how to solve the problem? I would really appreciate it.
