Newsletter image links not working

Hi All,
I hope someone can help, I only found one similar post to this but the only response was less than helpful. I don't know if the poster ever figured it out...

I have beautiful html emails ready to be send out, they are complete with image links to products and categories. When I tested the email none of the image links are working. The Alt is displayed when you hover but the links are not clickable. I know the HTML is sound because I also tested it in Outlook Express and it delevered fine.
What could be the problem?

Bump. Does anyone know why image links don't work in emails sent out with newsletter module? or a fix for this?

Can I see a sample of the code you are using in the HTML letters?

I take it you are also putting in the full URL in the email message to where the images are located?

but as i said it works fine when i paste the exact same code into outlook express so it muct be a problem with the settings or php?

I think you can try to put the full path to your IMG SRC.

I tried putting the full path to email/header.jpg (all other links in the email use the full path already), i re-sent it to no avail.
It made no difference.
Any other ideas?

Has every given up on this thread? I still haven't solved this problem so if anyone has any ideas i'd be really greatful.
