After making a minor change to my header.php my Home page appears to have been corrupted.
Words such as HEADER_TITLE_CATALOG and HEADER_ALT_TEXT appear when links & login should be.
Also all BOX_HEADINGS are no longer showing their correct titles.
Can anyone help me with this problem & how to fix it?

It sounds like you messed up with the header.php file and it's not loading properly or isn't being fully read.
