Virtual Product with Handling Charges

I am selling event tickets and the product is virtual. Shipping is free, but I want to add a handling/processing charge. Can someone walk me through the steps to do that or point me in a direction where I can find instructions?

I've gone into the Shipping Modules page and set the Per Item setting as 0 shipping and 3.00 handling, but when I do a test purchase, the fee doesn't show up.

If you are Shipping the Product then the Product is not Virtual ...

Virtual means that there will not be any shipping involved with the order ...

So, is the Product Virtual or is it really a Regular Product with Free Shipping plus a Handling Fee?
