I just found out that payments by credit card/debit card is a two stage process getting the complete card number from two sources and then processing manually!!
I didn't see any in the add-on modules but is there any way to get these processed in real time??

Yes you would use any one of the folowing
authorizenet
linkpoint
payflow
palpal pro
these are all built into zen cart by default you dont need to add themZen cart PCI compliant Hosting
