Breadcrumb Trail

This is a really silly question I know, but I cannot get the breadcrumb display to show properly(!)...not many settings I know...
I changed Configuration>Layout Settings
Breadcrumb status to 1 (also tried =2)
Tried :: and > as separators.

The pages either only shows Home
or seems to get stuck on Home Shopping Cart Checkout (with no separators shown)

That Home you see isn't a breadcrumb - it's the navMain section that you or your template designer have moved to below the header. Same with the My Account, etc.

Your breadcrumbs aren't showing at all. What is your breadcrumb setting in admin right now?

Current settings are:

Breadcrumbs Status = 1
Breadcrumbs Nav Separator =  > 

The white lettering (Home)......if I get all the way to checkout it does show where I am.....in white, above the line, but then if I eg go back to Shopping it still stays there.

I guess the code you quoted is in PHP somehwhere? I am struggling to get these anomolies completed as the company that did the work are no longer interested. WHilst I am getting more familiar with changeing settings via Admin, I am not a PHP coder as such and am not really sure HOW I'd go about cahnging it.!

The stuff I quoted is in the stylesheet, in your case, includes/templates/Slovak_Classic/css/stylesheet.css You'll need to download that file, change the 0em to something else (maybe .8em - you'll have to experiment) save the file and upload it back to the same directory, overwriting the old file. This is done using an FTP program like Filezilla.

My first exploration into css.....! ok I changed that - many thanks.
However...Home is still showing above the NavMain section....how do I get rid of that?

Is there any section of Zen cart that shows cpeople willing to change things??? (at a cost of course)
