Shipping Table Rate

Hi:

I have just started using zen cart... Badly need help on setting-up Table Rate Method. it just doesn't seem to work.

I've got a test product with 24lbs and my setting is:

Shipping Table: 25:8.50,50:5.50,10000:0.00
Table Method: Weight
Handling Fee: 0
Tax Class: -none-
Tax Basis: Shipping
Shipping Zone: Philippines


Please help me.

Hi.

I need your help in setting up Shipping, specifically Zone Rates. It is really not working for me.

Right now, we are only allowing all shipments to Guam... so, all else shipping will be 0

Below is the settings I have under Zone Rates.


Calculation Method: Weight

Zone1: GU
Zone1 Shipping Table: 25:8.50,7:10.50,99:20.00
Handling Fee: 0


I have an item and the weight is 25lbs. Retail cost: $104.99

When I am going to check-out this item and have selected the Zone Rate Shipping Method, it is still reflecting $104.99

Please help.

Hi there,

Make sure you put the percent signs in. It doesn't work correctly without them. Been there, done that!

Package Tare Small to Medium - added percentage:weight: 0:0
Larger packages - added packaging percentage:weight: 0:0
Display Number of Boxes and Weight Status: 0
Order Free Shipping 0 Weight Status: 0
Shipping Estimator Display Settings for Shopping Cart: 0
Display Order Comments on Admin Invoice: 1
Display Order Comments on Admin Packing Slip: 1

Am I missing something?

Got this working. I just had a wrong setting... "Enter Max Package Weight you will ship: 0"

Yep that Maximum of 0 weight will kill you every time ...

Hi all,

I'm using the table rate based off price.
For some reason, my shipping total keeps
adding in an extra $5 on top of the table rate.
( Paypal IPN is our only method of payment if it matters).

For example, the first couple rates are [FONT=Times New Roman]10:8.99,20:11.99[/FONT], .
When a customer orders a $24 item, the shipping charge
calculates at 16.99. etc, etc, tec.

At one time I used the shipping charge=item weight, ubt
we only use table rate right now.

I looked at a couple items and didn't see $5 in the 'item handling fee' .

We just installed the 'Recover Lost Cart' mod, and were shocked how many customers bailed because of shipping $$$.

Any clue where I could start looking for mystery entries that would cause the table rate to add additional $5 to the shipping total?

I'm guessing there has to be a dozen or so places I could look....

IS that becuase zencart split wieght evenly into two boxes??I am looking for how not to do that as well
