Sort order categories image on main page

Hello, everybody

I had look through the forum for hours looking for the answer to that but I didn't find it. I apologize if is there any post that I am missing.

I am setting up a shop for a friend in zencart version 1.3.6 you can see it in www.hiphopshop.es/tienda.

I had created the different categories assigning to them a determeinated sort order as you can see in the categories box on the left of the page.

The problem is that the images of the categories in main page are not arranged acording to the set order especified.
I had looked and tried different configurations on configuration/product listing and everything has failed.

can anyone help with this?

Your site is pretty broken on the display in FireFox v3.x and worse in IE 6.x ...

What happens if you switch to the Classic Template, does the sort order fix itself?

I have not reproduced this problem in v1.3.8 ... and I do not have handy that old v1.3.6 right now to test this issue ...

I didn't even think to do that test on the clasic template.
But yes, you're right. With the classic template the categories images are sorted as configured in the categories sidebox

What may had happen with my custom template to look like it does?

Because you tell me the site is broken in firefox and IE, I have done some tests at browsershots.
I'm surprised because I'm working with 3.0.12 firefox verison and testing it also in IE 7. So I haven't expected how the site looks in other browsers.
But what I don't understand is why the results in firefox 3.0 and ie 7 are so horrible. Maybe because I hadn't changed the language selector to default at admin/configuration/my shop?

Compare your template and override files ...

Maybe someone talented in the stylesheets could peek and see if they see what the problem is ...
