I wonder if someone can advise on how to overcome this issue.
Love the idea of offering Gift Vouchers for new signups, however, this represents an issue when a GV recipent signs up and then also receives another GV ?????
Is there a way of procluding a Gift Voucher recipient from receiving the new signup GV Email?
Here's the scenario if the above is not clear.
1. A new customer signs up to purchases a $100 Gift Voucher to send to a friend.
2. This new customer, receives a Signup GV valued at $10
3. The new customer signs back in and (after the GV has been released) now has an account CREDIT of $110
So, the new customer now decides to send the Gift Voucher with to the full value of the credit, $110.
4. Yeah!!! The friend receives a GV valued at $110 to redeem in our store.
5. The friend clicks on the link, which takes him/her to the signup page.
6. A new account is created and Yippee, the freind receives a welcome email with $10 for signing up.
THE FRIENDS ACCOUNT IS NOW IN CREDIT OF $120!
Any advise or workarounds for this would be great.
