    Default Emails FUBAR

We had to do a fresh reinstall after a server hack and now emails are not functioning properly.

No confirmations are being sent out and I'm getting SMTP errors when I create a new test accounts.

Whats the best way to test the emailing process within zen cart?

    Thanks, checked it out.

I have gotten everything to *work* behind the scenes at least..

However when users register/create an account they are greeted with and "SMTP Error: The following recipients failed:"

Even though this error occurs, the emails are going through fine and the accounts are set up fine.. I would just like to disable this warning from create_account.php, but can't find where.

    Any suggestions?

That email is given by the email server. It is not generated by the create_account.php module.
Perhaps the email addresses you've specified in Admin->Configuration->Email Options, including the "Send extra copy of create account (welcome) emails to:" address are/is in fact invalid, or maybe considered questionable by whatever email server you're using?

That helps clarify where the message is coming from.

The email I provided was valid, so maybe our server is being weird.

Anyway, how can I stop our email server from interrupting our users' login/registration process?

In the Email Options screen, is it set to Show Friendly Errors? If yes, then the error should only show as a red line at the top of the screen. If set to false, then the error will likely halt the code and simply display the error message on a white page. At least the red bar should let them continue with their login/purchase.
