Define Pages Editor throwing error

When I attempt to edit a page using the Define Pages Editor, (in text or HTML Area mode) I get the error below. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you checked the permissions on the file named in the first warning?

Have you checked the permissions on the file named in the first warning?

No I have not. When I installed the cart I changed permissions on the files and folders they said to but don't rememebrs seeing any instruction regarding the above.

What are the settings supposed to be?

I changed the permissions on the define_pages_editor.php file and it's still throwing an error:

It's the define_contact_us.php file that can't be opened. There are a number of possible reasons

• the permissions may be too tight
• it's a bit odd to see the language folder capitalized
• your web host may have blocked access to the fopen folder

They are arranged here in order of probability, with the most likely first.
