Preview button error 400

All of a sudden (of course) I noticed that on one of my sites some items do no display after hitting the preview button when modifying a product. Some preview fine, others return 400 error.

Here is the difference between those that preview and those that dont at the end of the URL

those that don't have:
new_product_preview&page=1

Those that do have :
new_product_preview

Why is this happening?

I do not get that ...

My URL contains the following when I click EDIT:

/admin/product.php?page=1&product_type=1&cPath=68&pID=193&action=new_product

and then when I click the PREVIEW:

/admin/product.php?cPath=68&product_type=1&pID=193&action=new_product_preview&page=1

What are you getting on the EDIT for the Product?

Here are the two URLs for preview:
http://*****/product.php?cPath=14_1&...preview&page=1 (gives me error 400)
http://*****/product.php?cPath=14_1&...preview&page=1 (gives me no error)

They are identical, but one works and one doesnt, they are both in the same category. The only difference I see is one had a model number and the other doesnt.

Here are the two EDIT urls and nice call:

The bad boy has added some extra characters. How why what and when?

Is products_id 1 the only Product that breaks like this?

Based on the Edit URLs, I am surprised it is not products_id 33 with the error ...

Are either of these Products Linked Products?

Q1: No, other products in other categories experience same sympton.

Q2: Products are not linked.

Product 1 is the one that doesnt update.

Product 33 updates fine.

There are more than one Product that does this ...

If I edit your products in that Category, there are at least two, plus the duplicate that I made of one of the broken Products ...

There is something in the Product Description causing this ... I did not spend a lot of time trying to figure out "what" is wrong with the description but I did notice that a "working" was in a Table and the broken products were not ...

If I remove the Product Description from the duplicate Product that I made ... NOTE: the status is OFF on that Product ... then I get a normal page on the Preview ... if I leave the Product Description in it, then I get the error ...

Its possible that i have remnants from product tabs that I used to use before I upgraded to 138a.

Yup, all the code for tab lite was still in there. I havent taken it out yet, but I am sure thats the problem.

I wonder if thats a bug that needs to be reported to the author.

I am afraid that I do not know ...

It could just be something in the products_description that is some how triggering an error ... I haven't seen this type of issue before ...

What is interesting is that I can take the products_description and put it in a clean v1.3.8 and not get that error that you are ...

You do have extreamly long lines of HTML that are wrapping oddly, but I have not found any specific breaks that I can add to fix this, but you might try that so they HTML is not being broken in odd places such as between words ...
