I installed 1.38a (patched) with Fantastico. I says it's patched. that why I decided to use fantastico rather than installing it myself. Check it out. I think it is already patched but I asked here to be sure.

Fantastico may or may not have the current Zencart version, and installing manually will require you to learn things that will be helpful later.

ok, that was an easy question, so I'll ask a second one.

In the shipping modules, while adding a new module, let's say UPS, what does this mean?...
"If a zone is selected, only enable this shipping method for that zone."

I have many different suppliers that dropship from all over the US so there is no particular zone I ship from. But I don't really understand what it's asking there.

Zone mean a specific area. Like you may want lets say UPS to only be available for clients shopping in like USA, Canada and Mexico only and all others get USPS.
