eBook store attribute options

Right now when someone clicks on a category and then a product, it gives information on the eBook and then the option of purchasing and downloading the eBook in up to 3 different formats for various readers.

We also need an option for print-on-demand, but I'm not sure if I need to set this up as a totally different product or just another attribute. Why? Because we will need a different informational product page to show up for this if someone wants it. The information is just a bit different for print-on-demand books then for a general downloadable eBook.

Has anyone else out there run into a problem like this? I'm not sure what the best route would be to take?

You might look into the Cross Sell or XSell add on as a method of keeping the Download Product linked to the Print on Demand Product ...

I did download that mod, but I haven't configured it yet... I have one more question about it... Would it allow two product pages, with the ability of only showing one, and then linking the other to it?

I am afraid I don't know the answer as I do not have this installed ...

You'd have to really try it out ... or perhaps look in the Contribution Forum and ask some questions there about it ...
