Please help with coupon restrictions

I have searched the forums but could not find an answer to my question.
I'm having problems setting up coupon restrictions.
My basic category layout is as follows:

Fabric
-Collection
----Bijoux
----Panache
----Laguna
-Manufacturer
----Moda
----Benartex
-Style
----Stripes
----Dots
Patterns
Tools

I want to restrict the coupon so it can not be used for products in the "Bijoux" subcategory (Fabric-Collection-Bijoux).
All these products have "Bijoux" as their master category.
Do I have to manually restrict each product or is there a way to restrict just that subcat?

Any help will be appreciated.

On the restrictions for the Discount Coupon, you should have:
TOP deny
Bijoux allow

So, if I want a restriction on "Bijoux" I have to allow it?

Also, which specific bug fix applies to this problem?

I now have "All Categories" = Deny and "Bijoux" = Allow but it won't allow me to use the discount code on any product in the store now.

And you haven't already used the Discount Coupon and have it set to 1 use per customer ... correct?
