Unable to Install

I have been trying to install Zen Cart for hours now and it just will not work. I'm using File Zilla and the Zen Cart version 1.3.8a

I've made a new directory in FileZilla and I've named it /store
I uploaded all the files into it and changed the correct files to 777.

I try to go to the name of my sever /store/ and I get The requested URL /store/ was not found on this server.

this is driving me crazy..I've never done anything like this before, please help.

Is that a domain name?

Someone else set this up for me and that person is no longer able to work on the site..so I'm trying to figure this out so I can do it myself.

Umm.. the website is www.StrideManufactoring.com

but when I put /store/ after the .com to install Zen Cart is doesn't work

Don't know if you mispelled your domain but the cart looks to already be installed but not at /store just at the root of the domain
Take out the space

That website doesn't seem to resolve to a real site.

I'm so confused..sorry.

Someone else made that cart. Zencart is not installed on this computer so I have no way of changing anything. I'm trying to install it.

Where is this computer?
If you mean your local PC on your desktop then that is not where one installs anything that is to be web accessible

ok..I'm at work..there are several computers..all hooked up to the internet and to eachother. Zencart was install on a laptop, this laptop belongs to someone who is no longer working on the shopping cart and is not going to be in for a few days. I need to get Zencart installed onto the computer I am at right now so I can change a few things to our cart.

You do not need it installed on the CPU you are at to work on "our cart"

Where is "our cart"?

I have no idea. Also..how do I install templates if I don't have a zen cart program installed?
