Easy Populate Upload Model Field Issue

Easy populate just gives me trouble after trouble. Here is my main issue I hope someone can assist me with. Okay, I add some items to my store manually, download complete tab-delimited txt file, then I change a few prices and add a few products. Upload the file to my website. The products update, but all the new products I enter it states no model field in record. This line was not imported. I am inserting a unique model number in the model field. I have used Excel, & Open Office. I did add a few fields to easy populate, however, uninstalled and went back to original file. Original file does the same thing. I was using Easy Populate 1.2.5 then uninstalled that and used 1.2.5.4 and it still did the same thing. I would not care about this issue as the product is being added with description, however the image is not being added. When I add image manually, then download another complete tab-delimited file and upload that back in site. The model field shows up okay. I am running zen cart 1.38. I have also read and re-read the wiki and still cant figure out the problem. Someone please help...
