I am using version 1.38a and have found that when a customer purchases the same product but changes the personalization for the indentical item the cart will simply overwrite the text and change the quantity to 2. My customers cannot change the text on the same product and have the cart recognize it as a new order.
A customer brought this problem to my attention a few days ago. I have read current and archived posts and searched the net but still cannot find an answer to fix it.I am certain that I am doing some simple thing wrong with the attributes that is causing the problem but now I cannot see the forest through the trees and am hoping someone can help.
If the customers change any of the other attributes the cart will recognize it as a new order but not with the personalization.
