    Default Yahoo Hosting email problem

OKay I have read all I could find so far. Apart from getting another host, which I think I might have to do has anyone been able to get the contact us page working through yahoo hosting

    I just get the response
Email Error: SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.

I have read other people have had this problem. Has anyone actually got it fixed and working. If so how?I am using windows and zencart 1.3.8a

    My site is iqartcards.com

I had no problems installing the package apart from not being able to upload the .hta files. It all seems to be working fine apart from the email

    Anyone out there?? Thanks

Thanks, yes I have done these steps.
The only doubt I have is whether my email address is set as Pop/Webmail and not just mail administrator.
The email I am using is set to default in the yahoo interface. The Pop and SMTP settings given if I want to use this on another program match that name.

    Any other suggestions?

Also I read something about phpBB linkage. Have no idea what it is but I saw the option in MyStore. SHould that be checked wither true or false?? The HTML editor in MyStore options is also set to none. Would that make a difference somehow?

That means the webserver couldn't get a response when trying to contact the SMTP email server you've configured in Admin->Configuration->Email Options. So, that means you've got the wrong server name, or wrong port, or wrong username, or wrong password.

Very possibly not ... Have you searched the forum for your host to see other folks challenges with them?
Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.
