Better Categories

I am using better categories for the left sidebox, and added the "products sidebox" because of a minimal amount of product to display. I would like to apply the bettercategories mod to that sidebox also. Any help pointing that style to that box would be greatly appreciated. thanks.....Joe

Do not know these mods but....

It looks fairly straight forward. Each item in the list is surrounded by an extra div whose class is betterCategories.

So first you need to find the template file for the products sidebox. It will be in (includes/templates/yourtemplate/sideboxes/) and may be called tpl_products.php. As I said I don't know the mod.

You need to edit that to put the new div in around the contents of the list. So, just after each <li> you need to put <div class="betterCategories">. And just before each </li> you need to put </div>.

Then have a look and see what you have got and we will work from there.

If you want to, it would be a good idea to post the template file once you have found it (you will need to zip it and attach it to the post) as then people would be able to give you fuller advice. I am guessing that it is called tpl_products but it might be called something else. I am sure you will find it!
