Hi, I have just upgraded to website payments pro. I am using a API signature. Do i need to get an SSL for my website.

My opinion is yes. You are taking personal data when, for instance creating an account, so security is still an issue.
Anyway, visible SSL shows the customer that you take security seriously and that is a good thing for your shop.
Others may have other opinions....Nick

Since Website Payments Pro is a merchant account credit card processor, I suspect that they require SSL. You'll certainly need it for PCI compliance, and it's a good idea to have one anyway.

With web site payments pro you are taking credit card info directly on your site so you need SSL, if I remember right it won't work live without it.
