Easy Populate CSV

Hello,

I installed Easy Populate CSV 1-2-5-6-csv for uploading MS Excel files for product. There is not much documentation on this and wanted to know how it works and what formats are available.

When I access configuration>Easy Populate I See:
- Uploads Directory
- Upload File Date Format
- Default Raw Time
- Split File On # Records
- Maximum Category Depth
- Upload/Download Prices Include Tax
- Make Zero Qty Products Inactive
- Smart Tags Replacement of Newlines
- Advanced Smart Tags
- Debug Logging

Where do I upload files and what format?

In the Readme.txt it states: "There are 5 file types to choose to either download, or dump into your /temp/ folder on your website. All of the files will download data for all of your store's products. Depending on what you wish to update, choose the most appropriate file." I do not see 5 types anywhere.

Please help.

if easy populate has been correctly installed, you should see an entry under admin->tools->easy populate. this is where you will see the different types of files you can download. this is also where you would upload and/or import the modified files. they should be uploaded in csv format that keep the same format as the downloaded file.

I'm new to using Easy Populate. Can you run down the steps on how to use it? I understand going to Tool>Easy Populate and seeing a "Upload EP File", "Import from Temp Dir (tempEP/)", Download EP and Froogle Files" and "Create EP and Froogle Files in Temp. Dir".

What are the steps to downloading, making changes, naming uploading, etc. I guess I do not know which file that Zen Cart reads.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
