Per Item Clone

OK i searched and could not find what i'm looking to do. Anyway here is the scenario.

i have 5 items offered. I do shipping by Per Item. I would like to offer 3 different shipping methods total. the shipping price for all items is exactly the same, to anywhere.

so i have
$1 shipping/item
$2 shipping/item
$3 shipping/item

doing per item i only am able to display one of the three shipping methods. is there an easy way to clone the per item shipping method so that it would calculate it in the way i am looking for?

I am not quite following what you are doing here with the $1, $2 and $3 shipping methods ...

Are you intending to call them something like:
Ground
2nd Day
Next Day

and just need the different rate per item?
