Images program

Ok Opinion from all you ZenGurus out there

At some point I will be attcking the images problem of configuring tons of images. I will be starting with images already on my site and then going to adding more.

Q?

I have read about

Image handler2?
Adobe photo program
and
easy populate
I have MS image composer which probaboly a good assumption is that it will not do what is needed.

Which is the best to invest my time in? Opinions please?
Why woudl one be better over another?

Re: Images program

What are you trying to do with the images? The programs and add ons you mentioned do different things.

Re: Images program

The images are for my products - copied of the Wiki/tutorial on the How to image preparation - and how to prep an image for the zc in small med and large.

I will be taking images off my distributors site for mine(they are ok with this - I have asked) so they are all different sizes and pxl's
which may cause a problem have not gotten that far.

http://crossstitch6000.home.tt.net/crewel.htm shows what I have been working with as far as pics go. I have ignored my site to get this new and better one going so please over look this. I do want the overall layout of the pics(med sized) no thumbnails - this is what our customer has asked for.

Some I will have to scan in myself. the size on those are huge sometimes 9"x12" and I have to scale them down the KB usually is big also with the MS Image composer I can only compress these to about 51kb instead of like 5kb if I get them from another site.

I know I will need three sizes on some 2 on others.
I will be constructing the site with this program?
and then uploading lots and then after things are up then the updates. Ideas?
