Changing Sidebar Categories Header to Image

I am trying to change the 'Categories' header title from 'Categories' to an image... and am not having much luck with this. I don't want to change all sidebox headers, just that one, site-wide. Not just the name but the background. There is one example out there on the www I tried, but it doesn't work.

Can someone walk me thru this please?

Try Image Titles from Free Addons. It can be used for just one title.

Thank you for that but that is wayyyy to convoluted for me. All I want to do is change ONE category header right now. I would like to know WHERE this is located and which file(s) I should look into to edit the sidebar headers... not just the name but to replace it with an image.

Without installing all your files and adapting a different image language, could you direct me thru this with what Zen Cart already has?

For your single purpose, it will be easier to install one file from the mod,
/includes/templates/your_template/common/tpl_box_default_left.php (assuming you want the categories box on the left), and save one image with the name boxhead-categories.gif and save in /includes/templates/your_template/buttons/english/ .

Thank you for the instructions. I did download the mod, put the files into my template, have an image 'boxhead-categories.jpg' (I renamed the 'gif' extensions to 'jpg' in tpl_box_default_left.php) and nothing is happening.

Right now I only would like to have a custom image on ONE category name and that is the top left 'Categories'.... not the whole left side btw. How do I proceed further now? I do not have a background color or image set in my stylesheet.css for LeftBoxHeadings FYI..

Again, nothing changes sofar. What else do I need to do?

Maybe you made some error when changing from gif to jpg? Post your copy of tpl_box_default_left.php in [php] and [/php] tags, and I'll see if there is anything wrong.

Where exactly did you save the image file?

The mod will replace only the heading (text and background) of the categories sidebox.
