I have inherited the maintence of this website. The previous person quit with transitioning any information to me. I need to make our shopping cart compliant. How do I access the Control Panel? Where is my Database located?

Depends on your host. If your host uses CPanel, the path is usually yoursite.com/cpanel, but you'll need the user name and password to log in.
I think you'll have to deal with the hosting company on this.
