    Default Help with Customizing my Template Stylesheet

    The URL in question: www.globalcw.net/shop

    I need some assistance with this. The template I have used is a free template. I want to replace the white on my website where the custom banner (i made) appears.

    The banner has GlobalCW.net in the image. I want to stretch my image right across from categories through to the right and side. If I am unable to do this, then I want the white replaced with a colour of my choice.

    Can anyone please advise how to fix.

    Regards

    WOW! I was gonna look at your site - but it taking FOREVER to load!

    Finally loaded - your using a Template Monster template??? tsk tsk tsk

    You have bg images in two separate stylesheets that will need to be changed.

    Look for:

    In stylesheet_tm.css

    .content_bg (line 70)
    {
    background-color: #2c2c2c;
    background-image: url(../images/bg_cont.gif);
    background-repeat: repeat-x;
    background-attachment: scroll;
    background-position: center top;
    }
    In stylesheet_main.css
    .content_bg (line 14)
    {
    background-color: transparent;
    background-image: url(../images/bg3.gif);
    background-repeat: repeat;
    background-attachment: scroll;
    background-position: 0% 0%;
    }

    At first glance, it appears to me that you might have to restructure the table cells next to and that contain your class "banner_set3" in order to get your logo to stretch any wider.
    But again, that was what I saw at first glance. Maybe someone else can help you out better than I can.

    Best of luck. :)

    The top three horizontal bands -- dark gray, pale gray, and white -- are designed to extend the full width of the browser window. But luckily, the area of the content is not. So you start by applying a background colour to replace the white with whatever you want. That should go full width. Then, in a graphics editor, you make you logo graphic wide enough to fill the space available for it -- looks like about 605 px would do. Right now your graphic is only about 550 px wide.

    Finally, realize that everything you try to do to customize this template will be fraught with difficulties that we may be unable to assist you with. (Search the forum for "Template Monster" if you don't believe me.)

    Thanks to those who helped me customize the template through your valuable input here on the boards.

    I am slowly learning and getting the hang of it.

    My next query is this:
    If you scroll to www.globalcw.net/shop
    I have the main page with a zen cart banner,
    can this be replaced with a css slideshow, almost like 1 image rotating in the same place.

    I am aware that I need to edit the content for my main page using EZ Pages.

    AAA+ Assistance Always Appreciated
