managing by Style/Color/Size

I can't be the first to ask this, but I also can't find the answer in the 1000+ posts.
What's the simplest way to manage stock on the sku level, sku being product, color, size.
When customers try to order a particular item of clothing, it's available in different colors and sizes. However, particular colors may not have certain sizes available. I'd like the drop down box only show what sizes are available based on the color selected, which is based on the quantity for that particular color and size.

No, it looks like you're asking about 'dependent attributes', where available attributes depend on the selection of another attribute. Zencart can't do that.
