Hi,
I've installed Zen Cart 1.38 for a client and wanted to know how to eliminate a duplicate free shipping choice on check out.
I have created 4 zones: US, Canada, Europe and Australia/New Zealand in the zone module. The international shipping destinations have two shipping rates based on the amount of purchase, which was set up with no problem.
For US domestic, there is a rate of $2 for purchases under $50 and free shipping over $50, which I specified as 49.99:2.00,50:0.00,10000:0.00
I created a zone in the tax/location module for her home state to charge sales tax, and a US zone for the free shipping module to function as the client wants the free shipping text to show up, so I enabled the free shipping module for US purchases over $50 and that works fine. She wanted flat rate options for all US purchases for Priority and Express Mail which I did by cloning the flat module and it appears to function fine as well.
Unfortunately, when a US client purchases items over $50, they not only get the free shipping option plus Priority and Express options, the zone module provides a button with a zone rate of $0.00 which essentially repeats the free shipping rate and may confuse the customer. If I don't specify the 50:0.00,10000:0.00, then the client gets a button choice of "The shipping rate cannot be determined at this time" which is even more confusing.
Is there a way to keep the Zone rate button from appearing on checkout for item purchases over $50, thereby allowing the free shipping button to stand alone?
Any help appreciated!![]()
