Let's assume I know absolutely nothing about zen-cart, which, is mostly accurate.

with that said, I'll say I know how to code in html and css fairly confidently and i'm still learning php.

now that you've got an idea of what I can understand...

-When I make a product, what confuses me is that it asks for product url. The way i've got my site set up is that the domain.com brings them to my site, and i've got a menu with all sorts of information and other things. I've also got a part for products. now the url it's asking me for, is that supposed to navigate away from the zen cart system or is it supposed to be a page in the zen cart system (don't know anything about ez pages either)

ie. domain.com then zen cart is in domain.com/zen/

my main information page has domain.com/products/product_one.html

i don't think that zen cart should be linking out of the system or anything,

I'm just a little confused about this part


Also, How/Where do I change the message sent to new customer registrants (ie. the email they're sent after registering)

The product URL field is for cases when you want a URL to the product on, say, it's manufacturer's website in the product description. I've never used it.
