Default Error MySQL database dropout? Linkpoint

I am having difficulty with the installation of the Linkpoint Payment Module for Zencart installed from the simplescripts section of Bluehost. It is failing in the Confirmation stage of the (step 3 of 3) of checkout in the shopping cart. After I hit confirm order the page tries to load for some time then I get the error below:

The error is showing up as a MySQL database dropout, so I'll start here with the error message:

2006 MySQL server has gone away in: [select customers_email_format from customers where customers_email_address= 'airlyndon##################'] 2006 MySQL server has gone away in: [select count(*) as total from sessions where sesskey = 'a4fd46080a0c60bb87836e4dde008437']

The same shopping cart was fully functional with the Paypal Website Payments Pro processor (including IPN), but the Linkpoint module has not functioned.

IP and SSL were installed preciously into the account.

Has anyone ever seen or dealt with this error before??

Yes I went through those steps and I believe everything is correct. So I am really stumped here. I issued a ticket for bluehost to confirm that all of those steps are correct.

So if you know what Error: MySQL database dropout could mean that would be of great help.

Basically it means that the server had to pause a long time waiting for a response from some other server, and while it did that its internal timeout for database connections expired, so when it finally gave up talking to the external server and tried to continue processing data for the page you were waiting for, it found it could not talk to the database anymore.

If it's happening only when attempting to talk to the linkpoint server to deal with transactions, the issue is almost certainly a problem in the communications between you and linkpoint.
