USPS module calculating postage WAY too low

I've got the USPS mod installed and set up just for priority. But the calculation is way off. I have a 14 pound package going from the west coast to the east coast and on the USPS site I get $40 ish for shipping. But on the ZC it gives $11.90. I'd be screwed for nearly $30 if someone selected that method!

I've checked the tare and that's all good.

What am I missing here? Any help would be appreciated.

It seems like on this forum you either get a variety of answers to a question, or you get no answers whatsoever! Weird.
