Default font sizes different in IE and FireFox

    hello all

I have a problem with my shop layout that only shows in IE and in Google Chrome.
When a customer is checking out, then in steps 2 and 3 the text suddenly becomes bigger than normal and in IE the header logo is shown twice. This destroys the layout of the pages. It seems that only these two pages are causing a problem. And this does not happen in FireFox.

Does anyone have an idea where I should start fixing?
I have been checking several forums and cannot find anything that would help. I suppose it's something small.

my page is located at http://www.pieceofcake-clothing.com/shop/

I appreciate any hints and tips

    Thanks Daniel

I have the exact same problem. It is only on the ssl at checkout, some of the style sheet attributes like font size ect are gone and only on firefox.

Did not have problem until I configured SSL

    Using hostmonster for hosting

What's more, I just fund out that the problem only occurs on the German and not on the English pages.

These sorts of problems typically occur when there's a syntax error in the php files causing output before Zen Cart has sent the HTML doctype statement to visitors' browsers.

This invalidates the doctype statement and causes different behaviours depending upon the browser type.

look for any characters in the top left corner of your screen on the pages where this happens, they may give a clue as to where the problem is. Looking at the page source can be useful too. Running the pages through a validator can also help to pin down problems like this.

As this only happens on certain pages and in one of your languages, it sounds to me like a syntax error in the German language files for those two pages. look especially for misplaced or unescaped apostrophes.
