    help question Admin>configuration issues.

I am using zen cart v 1.3.8 and put in the new security patch. When I go to change items in the configuration menu from the admin home such as index listing, all products listing, etc., I edit to make the change and it goes directly back to the admin home page. I go back in to check to see if the change was made but it was not. What to do? Why is this happening?

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

That means you didn't apply all the patch files correctly. There are 5 files in the patch. ALL of them belong under the /admin/ folder structure.
For some reason several people have decided to ignore the documentation and instructions which say that the files are ALL admin files, and instead they have put the updates in the non-admin folders instead, or edited/updated non-admin files. You'll need to undo any mistakes you've made and ensure that you've applied the updates to the appropriate places.

Thank you Dr. Byte. I appreciate your advise. I thought I had put all patch files in the ADMIN directory but apparently I did not.
Once again, I appreciate your reply.
