They have suggested just removing the base href command initially and if that doesn't work they have a more complex fix.

I no longer provide installation support on forum for all my modules. However, if there are real bugs with the modules please feel free to contact me
OK, thanks for that info - that will save me more headaches when I try to put all my modules back on.

They have said that the more complex solution they can offer [FONT="]requires them to translate the HTTP-X-FORWARDED-PROTO header so that Zencart can detect the SSL connection. They also said that it will require a modification to the Zencart code.
Before I waste mine and their time, does this sound like it will cause any problems further down the road? I can always switch host if I need to but I'm really happy with my current host as they offer great service.

They sorted it actually. They changed something at their end and they also made a small change to the base href line - something to do with HTTP-X-FORWARDED-PROTO
All works fine now.
