Simple how to for installig add ons?

I am using Zen Cart 1.3.7 and looking to install a few of the free ad ons. I have looked thought the tutorials to try and find a step by step to guide me though this.I haven't found any thing as of yet.
1)Can I install these though the admin section? or do I need to upload to server?
I want to add livezilla and the rewards program.

Each add on usually comes with an instructions document.

You will need to add them by uploading then via FTP ( although some do need to use the SQL patch installer located in the admin section - but this is documented )


If a addon does not have instructions, then install the files in the same location as they appear in the downloaded addon file, but remember to use the override system

When installing new addons, its always best to make sure you have backed up your site
