How do I get rid of shipping altogether?

Hi!

I am not charging for shipping during the checkout process - shipping is *not* free - I am making custom arrangements for each customer as I am selling art, some of it quite large and/or heavy. I would like my customers to be able to purchase their art, and then I invoice them separately for shipping.

So I disabled all of the various shipping options, and what a customer now sees is:

Not Available At This Time
Sorry, we are not shipping to your region at this time.
Please contact us for alternate arrangements.

How can I change this text to reflect what I want to say to my customer?

Oh! And how do I get rid of the "estimate shipping" button that is found on each product info page?

What I would probably do is use the 'Store Pickup' shipping module, and change the name and the text to reflect the fact that the customer will be contacted with shipping costs.

Do you mean in the shopping cart? That's in Admin - Configuration - Shipping / Packaging
