Xinha for zencart

I have completed an integration of xinha - (x -it's not html area) for the cart admin and will upload it shortly. I have one question to throw out to anyone who knows more than I. plugins for the WYSIWYG editors area are a hit or miss thing. Does anyone have an idea why this is so? It does not have anything to do with the language file. I'm going to wait awhile to upload in case someone gives me an answer.

Xinha is an alternative html WYSIWYG editor. The advantage to Xinha is that it works in Mozilla based browsers. The version that I am going to put up also allows uploading images so that the user doesn't have to ftp extra images to put them into the product descriptions, define pages or ez pages, etc.

There's another plugin that allows the uploading of pdfs and other files. I frequently have to assist my customers in putting up pdfs and linking to them so it's a great addition. However, it's the one plugin that I can't get to work right now. That's why I was hoping some great zen guru would know more than I so that I can get this to work before I upload it.

But with no answers, I'm going to go ahead and package this up as is. If anyone wants to help, please speak up and I'll be glad to work on it further and upload a new version.

Very impressed and love the fact that the image aspects work with no fuss - but there seems to be a problem in the Newsletter section in that the html is not being saved. Any ideas?

And a small error in the package you've put together... admin/includes/languages/english/extra definitions should be extra_definitions

thanks for the comments - but I don't know why the newsletter wouldn't save. It shouldn't be any different than other text areas. I never did figure out how the editors know which textareas to work in.

I did have someone at Xinha give me some more code that may correct that so I'll work on that today and correct that directory boo-boo when I upload.

Well, coupon admin doesn't work either. Since I'm no javascript expert, I'm really having difficulties with this! I may just have to package this up with warnings.

If anybody out there knows more javascript than I and would like to help, please speak up.

I definitely don't have it all correct as the config file inclusion isn't working at all.

Shall keep at it.
