I've made a number of complex mods to an established zen cart site. The site is 6-7 years in progress, has received a lot of recognition, has international customers, is a BBB member and other credentials, and is an outstanding shop in all aspects.

We've done a number of ordinary things really well, and teamed up to do a number of things not explained in the forums or zen cart documentation.

The owner suggested I do the same for others, and we are stumped where to find the help wanteds, so that I may reply, in the zen cart forums or anywhere on the internet.

Things I've done:

Transferred and converted address and testimonials from MSSQL into zen cart, including data cleanup, and incorporating the existing password encrypted the same way ZC does. The move was "transparent" to all the customers. I can do things beyond EasyPopulate.

Many php, css and html customizations, both logic and visual, including drop down menu mods, making the [<< Prev] 1 2 3 4 5 [Next >>] navigation links more attractive on the product pages, individual product layout changes, and now the various category pages have the same look and feel throughout the shop.

Adding a sold button to products displayed on the home page only.

Gift certificates with flexible, type your own amount.

Custom sideboxes.

Mouse over product slideshow on home page.

Changes to the default category items list layout, including removing the sortable columns at the top, so these items display like the rest. Many forum posts talk about changing the rest to look like the default - this is the opposite.
