Default multiple branches to recieve individual orders using paypal

Looking to set up a system when our site has 6 stores/locations, the user purchases the products and then chooses from which store/location they would like to collect the goods.

I want zencart to process the payment using paypal and the store recieves the order, the order goes directly to the correct store/location as well as the head office.

Example user buys products select delivery to 'Maynooth' store, user pays with paypal, email of order goes to user, maynooth store and head office, Paypal payment confirmation goes to user, maynooth store and head office.
Next order selects Dundrum store - emails to dundrum and head office and customer.

    Can it be done?
    welcome alternatives if not.

You could probably do the email part with some custom coding and using forwarders, and maybe allow the customer to choose a store with some custom coding, but you won't be able to send payments to separate stores with Paypal, and you won't be able to reduce stock by store.

One way to kludge it would be 6 separate Zencart installations with an entry page which allows the customer to select a store before shopping.

What you're describing, insomuch as Zen Cart would operate, has nothing to do with PayPal as the payment provider.

Rather, they way I read your post, the complication is in offering the customer which physical store to collect from. If one assumes that ALL your online customers will PICK UP their order from a certain store (and NOT have the order shipped), then I suppose you could clone the Store-Pickup "shipping" module several times (or rewrite it to offer several choices via radio-button or pulldown), and let them make their selection at the "shipping" stage. Then at the "payment" stage, they can choose PayPal (or maybe cash-on-pickup as well, etc), and then complete their order.

    Thanks,

We want an email of the order and the fact that payment has been made to the local store/individual store. So I guess while we can send different orders to their chosen stores, the paypal payment confirmation can only go to one address?

Yes, PayPal only sends its transaction emails to the main email address on file.
