How to change product listing template on main page?

Hi
i'm using a template monster and i simply can't figure out how to change the look of the "New Products" listing on the front page of my zen cart.
It looks like a mess, i need more characters displayed on the products description and to center the price.
Ive tried changing it at the Admin/Configuration/New Listing and it didnt change a thing. All changes are only made at the New Products listing page (http://www.almerch.com/shop/index.ph...e=products_new) but not at the front page.

Can someone help me please?

That is not the new products listing you see on the home page but the new products centerbox. The centerboxes do not display any descriptions. For the listings, TM typically hard-codes the description length so that you cannot change it in admin (I don't know about your template).

I suggest you use Firefox and its Web Developer and Firebug extensions to find the classes and ids of the elements you want to rearrange. They will all be different from the standard ZC names. You may need to edit some PHP files to fix some TM settings or regain the standard functions.

I still have no luck on this.
Can anyone help please? ive tried using the Web Developer on firefox and searching for the ids but no success at all. I can find their ids at the /modules/newproducts.php but still no chance on increasing the description lengh.
Now i'm thinking about removing it. Is that possible?

Removing what?

I'm afraid nobody here is going to be able to help troubleshoot your template without going into your admin and PHP files - the code/functionality seems quite different from standard. Have you asked Template Monster for help?

Removing the description from the centerboxes.
It looks so weird with just a few letters.
