Product Listing Image Padding

I need help...

My product listing images are relatively large. I have a three column layout with dividing lines (grid like) and this causes the right side boxes to overrun the main wrapper. I don't want to reduce the number of columns, width of the side boxes or the product images, and the main wrapper width is optimised.

What I would like to do is move the images closer together (reduce the padding), as there is more than enough space in between to compensate.

This one has had me going for ages but I'm back on it again now. I've conceded.

Help me please, and thank you in advance.

If you can't give a link to the site, we at least need to know all possibly relevant mods you have applied. Stylesheet portions that apply to that area would also help.
If there is not actually significant padding or margins on the images, you may need to edit a PHP file (probably /includes/modules/your_template/product_listing.php) to reduce the % width assigned to each product.
