    Default Products Per Group

Is it possible to have 2 sets of users that both get to view a different set of products?

I need two groups, new and subscribers.

Basically I need non-customers and new customers to be able to purchase "subscription" products. Once those are purchased they will be moved into the subscribers group. This will allow them to view the other products AND the "subscription" products.

My early research is leading me to believe that I'll need to modify the Discount Groups feature, which will if nothing else, allow me to separate my customers into 2 groups. I could then modify the product listing queries to check by group ID.

Does this sound like a good plan?

    This can work ...

You might look at all of the places where products_status is used to get a feel for all of the locations for this ...

I'd really have to fool with the code to see if there is a method to intercept the SQL, without breaking things, to add this condition in fewer places ...

    Default Re: Products Per Group

Hi, did you get this to work?? I need something similar. I have a group called Wholesale that allows traders to get a discount on all products. Fine.

But I also want to add products that only this group can purchase. I don't want normal customers to be able to purchase these specific products. I can't see how to assign a product to a group. How can I do this?
    Thanks.
