I wouldn't even begin to know where to start, but if I had all of my product data, in bulk, in an Microsoft Access file- would I be able to upload them to my zen cart website in one easy way?
This would help me tremendously!

East Populate does work fine. I used it for both my stores. So your only issue would be getting the data out of Access in a form that Excel can play with. I assume that won't be difficult, both being Microsoft products.
There's a FAQ/Turtorial around here somewhere explaining how to use EP.
