Product Min Quantity and Mix & Match

My company is a wholesale business. We would like to set a minimum quantity for products in the same category. For example, if a customer orders 5 of glass doors and 10 wood doors, they have met the category 15 minimum quantity. I've been scouring the newsgroups and google, but haven't found anything that fits my needs. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
