I don`t even know what this bit is called :)

Under the site banner in the main body section i have a large white section, i have no idea why this is there and can`t find how to get rid of it

take a squiz at the site to see what i mean please.

In your stylesheet find

#navCatTabsWrapper {
	background-color: #ffffff;
	color: #9a9a9a;
	background-image:none;
}

Delete background-color: #ffffff;

Then Find:

#navBreadCrumb {
	padding: 0.5em 0.5em;
	background-color: #ffffff;
	font-size: 0.95em;
	font-weight: bold;
	margin: 0em;
	}

And delete background-color: #ffffff;

Thanks man, but that only removed the lower part of the white box, how do i remove the top bit :)
One other thing if you don`t mind, in that top part you will see two links were about`s can i set the font size for that as the wife wants it to be bigger.Thanks for your help.

You still have this in your stylesheet:

#navCatTabsWrapper {
	background-color: #ffffff;
	color: #9a9a9a;
	background-image:none;
}

Put this in the bottom of the stylesheet for the size:

#navCatTabs a.category-top{font-size:200%}

You can change the 200% to whatever you want
